A hand-carved wooden sculpture depicting the beloved Maneki-neko, or ‘beckoning cat.’ In Japanese and Chinese culture, the Maneki-neko is a symbol of good fortune and prosperity, often placed at shop entrances or homes to invite happiness, luck, and success. With its paw raised in a welcoming gesture, this charming figure brings a warm wish for abundance and joy.

It measures approximately 10 cm in height.

Every detail is shaped by hand with care and patience, preserving the natural textures and warmth of the wood. Subtle layers of watercolor are applied to bring the expression to life, giving the piece a sense of quiet presence and soul.

Note:Keep it away from water and direct sunlight to let its gentle spirit last for years to come.

Lulu is a wood artist with a background in landscape architecture. Her work draws inspiration from the quiet companionship of animals and the gentle rhythms of everyday life. Each sculpture begins with a single block of wood and takes shape through a patient, intuitive process - resulting in tender, one of a kind pieces full of personality and charm.

This marks the debut of her work in North America. We’re honored to share this collection with you, and hope it brings a little warmth and joy into your life.
